SPA TIME...

Well.... After weeks of hard work... weeks of torture at work... after all the effort we put in our work to make our company grow and boost our dear economy... i guess we deserve a treat ya? Our body deserve a good massage... a good scrub.. and of coz a good bath... hahha....

So my swee & "bim" sistas and me signed up spa package to pamper and reward ourselves... since after all we work so hard... we should pamper ourselves ya? haha...

We went to our first spa last Sunday... and it was.. it was... so so only though... i still prefer spa in bintan/batam.. though alittle inconvenient but i think they serve and quality is better.

So we went (ok.. i'm not going to say which one.. at orchard la) on Sunday... Actually when i went for the trial back massage everything was still quite good.. the massage was good.. their technique was relatively ok....
but Sunday full massage wasn't that impressive.. for the first time i did not sleep at all during the massage.. usually i'll sleep after awhile coz toooo comfortable liao.. haha....

so... we have to wait for awhile.. and they did not brief the spa attention our package and what r we doing today.... so instead of them asking me what i want.. i have to ask what u have.. and they seem to me .. not very knowledgable about their own product and our package lo.... Demerit point..

First is the body scrub. The lady didn't ask me what i want... and bring in the scrub liao... i was like.. "wow u can read my mind know what i wan is it".. after asking her and telling her i wan something moisturising.. she also conveninetly say..."THIS ONE LO>".. fine.. anyway.. apple yogult scrub, whatever scrub.. also scrub la... its was good.... someone to help u scrub whole body was indeed.. comfortable!! so yeah! i have "reborn" skin.. haha...

After that is the hydro bath... this one.. ok.. finally she asked what i wan... soak in lavender bath.. oh my... with a cup of tea by the side.. and the music.. ok.. i almost fallen asleep there..... nice bath...

Next.... Full body massage.... Again.. never ask me what kind of massage i want lo... only ask.. u wan soft?medium?hard? where only after that i realised soft is aroma massage.. medium is what massage.. hard is what massage.. must to explain to me mah.. how i know.. anyway i chosen the medium one.. i also cannot remember what.... the strength was good.. but somehow i feel her stroke not very professional... so another demerit point...

Lastly is the foot spa... actually, after the scrub.. after the massage.. fool spa is extra la... but the wax they apply on it.. really make ur feet smooth.. so smooth its giving us difficulty to walk properly... too slippery liao
hahahaa

so so.. we still have medi and pedi didn't do!! really pamper like a princess hor.. haha.... see.. just so easy to earn women's money...

but ok la.. they serve u like queen... Of coz... got funny part la.. but i think too RA to share here.... hahahaha... that remain as a "secret" between the spa sistas.. hahaha..... "that urine part la! aiyooo... Darling hua... i know u r laughing away now.. stab u! hahaa..."

So... when is our next spa treat? I wan to bring my MUMMY along.. she deserve a break too.. :-)

i'm BRACED

Yes... i'm "braced" finally.. haha... after good whole 3 weeks.. i'm finally braced on the 4th week...

1st week --> 8 teeth extraction

2nd week --> Separator.. Ouch!

3rd week --> Lower brackets at my molar..(Caused alot of ulcers lo...)

4th week -->Upper brackets at the upper molar and all other brackets follow.. and TA DA!! i'm braced! haha.. yes... this picture was taken immediately after my orthodontist finished it. (A close up for u guys to see! haha) I chosen baby blue rubber band.. look cute right? hahaa... well... i can really feel the pressure on my teeth when the band were put on.. its a feeling i simply can't describe one tiny piece of rubber band can do to my teeth. and i HATE THE METAL HOOK lo... it make my lip so pain and i cannot close my mouth normally, i tend to push forward to close my mouth. They says --> Goldfish mouth.. haha.. but cannot control leh... coz i scare the 2 metal hook will HOOK on my lip! ouch..

So.. now i have to live with my beloved braces for the next at least 24mths!... i'll get used to it la.. so by the time we go KL... GOOD FOOD WAIT FOR ME! hahaha

I did not weigh myself so have no idea how many kgs or grams i lose.. but from what i feel... not much or infact mayb not at all or worse.. i put on weight!.. although i can't take solid food, but i took many soft food with high carbo! whip potatoes, cakes... hahahaa.....

OK.. for those who are interested in doing braces, this is really a good website i found online. infact, i read it before i have the courage and decide to do braces. Really good website... go and read it and understand more about braces! perfect smile is awaiting me.... (I'm at part 4 already! haha.. ) :-)

Let's get separated!

We been together for almost 20 yrs.. And for the good 20 years we been working very hard and we never leave each other. but now.. now.... have to be separated.. till the day we meet again will be 2 yrs later? I hope, i wish i pray...

Yes.. and the one parting them is ME... haha... i'm in the stage of putting "separator" in between my teeth now.. it is basically a tiny blue rubber that is inserted in between your teeth to make space so that the metal ring can be put later on. imagine the rubber is there to push ur teeth apart...and i must to bear with it for 1 week... 7 days... well.. this is very umcomfortable i must say.. as you can feel the rubber first before u feel ur teeth when you bite. and when you bite, the pressure pushes it and ur teeth will pain.. i practically don't dare to touch my teeth the next day and once it touches... my tears will follow lo... can imagine the pain level.... heng ah... after 1 day of torture, the 2nd day was back to normal. not pain but still uncomfortable.. you know something is in there that make it very uncomfortable but still bearable la....

one more day! one more day i can remove these horrible blue rubber in my teeth.... hopefully by then i can chew and bite..i have been taking 2 weeks of porridge diet already leh... and those who know me well will know my "passion" towards porridge.. i admire myself for able to survive 2 weeks with just porridge.. and crystal jade has been my favourite restaurant since then till now... earn alot of my $ liao hor... oh how i miss the taste of rice... i miss rice.. i wan to eat rice...

My HERO Act! wow... cannot believe.... **Shiver**

Whahahha.... not to scare you all... but yes! HERO ACT... from 4 teeth extraction to 8! all at one go!!!!

come to think of it now... make me *SHIVER*!

Went to the dentist, and i simply ask him whether can extract all 8 at one go coz i wan to suffer 1 time only, he gave me a surprise look and big eyes... and said.. YES OF COZ! hahahahaha

and SO! tada!!! the horrible 30mins starts.....

He sprayed some lotion on my gum, after awhile, injections follow.. yes.. injectionSSSSSS eveyrwhere on ur gum.... this is the most painful part i tell you... its like forever to me! Ouch...

And then.. TADA!! he start to DRILL.. start to PULL.. start to SHAKE... the most difficult one is finally out.. and before i knew it.... he told me the left side all done which means 4 teeth gone! and the right side....
he is very fast wor! Can tell he is indeed experienced an professional... i got 2 teeth that requires surgery to extract, and he did it all within 30mins. very fast!

My dentist also very good la... keep talking to me, assuring me, telling me his next step, told me everytime he took out a tooth, and keep telling m how brave i am... blah blah blah... all these definitely going to give me confident!

And very fast.... my mouth is full of cotton wool and bloody de lo... kaoz... but so far... everything is under control... ppl scold me crazy.. extract all 8 at one go.. if dun stop bleeding i can die lo... but ok la.. so far so good.. hehhee....
except.. i cannot eat lo.... sure slim this time....

and i am hungry now... i wan to chew, i wan to eat! when then i can eat per normal i wonder..... quick... quick over!!!!

Excited.. Yet fearful...VERY FEARFUL indeed.. omg...

Yes...... No doubt... right! i think think think think... for many yrs?? you all been listening to my this thinking for many yrs? ha.. i finally decided.. yes.. to DO MY BRACES...

Dun ask me why wait till now then do... coz only now i have time and money to do? haha... or i finally find the courage to correct my teeth... omg.. its never too late anyway....

Shall update my blog every mth to keep track of my braces journey.. so by the time i take out.. wow! can see BEFORE and AFTER. ahahaha.... i pray everything will be perfect!.. "PERFECT BRACED".. hahaa

The fearful part.. i guess is the tooth extraction part... my first extraction will be on wednesday! (15 Oct!) and at one go... extract 4 teeth wor! OUCH!

then following week, another 4.. what make this complicated was i have an in grown tooth which is underneath my wisdom tooth and 1 normal tooth... so this is a big problem lo... have to go surgery to take out that in grown tooth, else one day if it decay inside also jia latt.. might as well do it now! omg. this is the scariest part i tell u.. not the process, but after that... the pain..

cannot eat, cannot chew... SURE SLIM! hahahaha.. so can feed me with good food from now on till next wednesday....

i am damn excited yet damn fearful together........ can only pray everything go well and smooth...

this. what to do? "AI SWEE MAI MIA".. hahahahhahahhaha

wait for my update again on wednesday ba... i'll be "BOR GAY" wen soon.... gosh.. which means.. i cannot laugh out like what i do everytime liao.... haha become hehe? omg.....

The 5 Ppl you meet in Heaven...

Oh yea! i mentioned earlier i wanted to read this book... and i finished reading it.. and again, it never disappoint me.. very good and meaningful... go catch it if u can. although personally i prefer tuesday with morrie and it let me see and understand more but this book is equally good la.. it managed to keep me reading and wanting to read to the end.

Basically it showed u 5 great lessons you will learn when u meet the 5 great people after you die and in heaven.. ( that's provided you go heaven hor... should he come out with another book... "the 5 ppl u meet in hell?" haha)

First, he (Eddie) met a blue man whom he doesn't know at all.. but so happen, he killed this man unknowingly when he was still a boy.... "Fairness... does not govern life and death. if it did, no good person would ever die young".. so if the blue man doesn't die in that accident, eddie would. who to decide to to die first then? no fairness in either case i think..

Next, he met his captain (he was in the war during his teen). "Sacrifice is part of life" be it big or little... hmmm

Following, he met the 3rd person -- A woman he don't know... Ruby, her name, is the lady staying by her sick husband in hospital and Eddie's father was bedded just beside them. Hence, she see and hear things that Eddie apparently is blind and deaf to. ( In the story, Eddie was not close to his dad, infact he dislike his dad).... " Holding anger is a poison. It eats you from inside. We think that hating is a weapon and attacks the person who harmed us. But hatred is a curved blade. And the harm we do, we do to ourselves" Wowowowowow.......

The fourth person Eddie met was his wife. His wife passed away many yrs ago due to cancer.. so Eddie got to live alone many yrs w/o his beloved wife.. " Lost love is still love. It takes a different form that's all!. Memory then becomes your partner, you nurture it, you hold it, you dance with it. Life has to end, love doesn't." Melts you heart instantly isn't it?? it does for me. haha...

and so.. tada.. the last person Eddie met in heaven is .... a little gal.. which he doesn't KNOW AGAIN!.... this story also deliver this message.... dun think people you don't know are strangers to you, they might have greatest impact in your life, just that you don't know yet. "Strangers... are just family you have yet to come to know..."

So this little girl is someone whom Eddie accidentally killed during his war time. he has no intention but burn this little girl alive. and Eddie blamed himself very hard on this mistake.. he hated himself and think he has never done anything right and important in his whole life. "You made contribution be it how tiny your task may be, hence do your best to every single task you are assigned" that is what i derived after reading the whole chapter.

The story ended with Eddie returning home -- heaven, wth his wife..

Meaningful ya? Next!!! i wan to read... FOR ONE MORE DAY, by Mitch Alborn too. Another life lesson to learn.

Fearful MONOPOLY......

Ask urself.. when is the last time u played board game? haha. wow.. i can tell u all the last time i played monopoly was in secondary school? or mayb longer than that!

Met my swee and siao sistas at darling's hua's place.. since her parents gone to holiday, we have our own paradise at her place!

We decided to play some games there.. and dear Jo so nice lo.. brought her precious board game along...

First, we play this card game called..... called.... hmmm... Called... sabotage?? i forgot the actual name leh... it's a strategy game.. basically abt building the bridge to the correct path in order to find the gold. there wil have some builder and some bad guy either tryin to lead u to wrong path, or destroy ur way... fun game.. i like...

then.. we decided we want to play our childhood favourite game.. MONOPOLY! in Singapore edition somemore wor! sound all so familiar! and kaoz... i am damn bloody suay that night lo... super super suay lo!!! i dun know why suay luck on me! monopoly got sooo many properties right? i only managed to buy 1 MRT stn and 1 property.. and THAT'S IT! other than that.. i'm either on someone else's land.. or "free carpark".. or "chance"...can u imagine!!! kaoz... in the end still must beg jo to sell me one of her super unattractive piece of land to me.. but since i so desperate i buy lo.. haha... suay or not u say.. how to win like that... when u throw the dices...sure kena ppl's land lo... i only pay pay pay, no chance to buy buy buy... and the best part is.. although i only have 1 land.. but my 1 land is at prime area lo.. so its a good land.. when i got into my own land next round.. ho sei! i wan to build HOTEL bomb the rest.. who know.. kena bully lo... in all my years of monopoly experience... i can build hotel if i have $ right? they bully me that night lo... all got so many land liao still red eye. dun let me build hotel.... kaoz.... ended up.. all house only lo... huh...

But but but but..... although i'm suay... i'm still not the "suaiest" [suay + est = suaiest?? haha].. Soh is the suaiest... and that's when the enjoyment of monopoly became the torture... we start playing since 12 plus?... by 2am we already super tired liao.. dun wan to play liao.. but no one bankrupt yet! (although i suay..but i got $).. haha.. And! we dun wan to end the game just like that.. someone must bankrupt. so at the end of the game... all praying hard to be bankrupt.. it is a blessing if your turn to go to "jail" and we definitely won't bail ourself out.. coz we come to this conculsion that staying in the Jail is safer than travelling outside... with so many lands with houses... pay till siao.. so i rather stay in Jail.. for soh, she rather step on ppl's land.. coz she poor thing.. kena this chance that have to pay tax and repair for all houses.. make her sell house, sell land then enough $ to pay taxes.. hahahaha......

really torture right? this game is never ending de.. till all really desperate to be bankrupt.... only 1 bankrupt than we can end this game.. so guess what... this game FINALLY ended around 3am.. with SOH BANKRUPT! hahaha.. by then... all already cannot take it liao....

So next.. what are we going to play?? hahahahahhaa..... i feel YOUNG play these game!!!

And something i wan to add is... that night is a strange night for all of us... All of us behave and talk like BIMBO that night lo..... "Darling took almost a decade to reach my hse from woodlands to woodlands lo.. simple coz.. she claimed she lost her way in woodlands to woodlands!?", " soh keep placing the card at wrong position in our sabotage game... the card can only be place VERTICALLY, not HORIZONTALLY lo... cannot differeniate leh... and strategic game suppose to win it fast.. not to build the bridge nice nice leh... halo, not ART lesson ok... and hor.. always forgot to get herself another card after discard a card omg!" and i also got mixed up with the horizontally and vertically positioning.. ahah... everytime i wan to place my card.. i must think twice, trice and chant "I MUST NOT ACT LIKE BIMBO" when i arrange my card.. hahaha.. ok.. this is NOT MY NORMAL SELF ok.. haha... seem like the normal one is bao and jo only lo.. haha.. But BUT BUT.. let me put this disclaimer... before all shoot me.. haha... we only behave and act like bimbo for that night.. we failed to LOOK LIKE BIMBO.. how sad.. except for.. darling hua la... the truely... BIMBO... hahahah

Surely.. trust me... i'm not a F1 fan... i won't spend so much $ to watch this race for sure....

But.but...but... i'm there wor! hahaha

although not for the 3 full days, at least i'm there before to experience the live! F1 show! good enough!

i like the sound of the engine... Ferrari.. Merc...Renault...Honda... Toyota.. all produce different sound if u listen carefully... some really smooth when turning, some like "sa ji" lo.. its the tyre and driving skill la i think... Dunno..

But the experience was really good.. one time is good enough, ask me if i wan to go another time next yr... welll.. DEFINITELY! if i got free ticket like this year! hahahahhaaa......

However, getting to our seats is such a pain... perhaps we r inexperience organising such big event, maybe our organiser forgot to bring their brain out when they plan certain things... things just jam lo... 2 way human traffic, ppl trying to go in, ppl trying to come out, all within that narrow enterance/exit? till all so fustrated and some were even cursing and swearing liao...

One "beloved' Singaporean beside me actually use our damn solid Singlish and scold the poor ang mo behind him... "WOW LAU EH, DUN PUSH CAN OR NOT!? I MOVE IF I GOT SPACE OK... KAOZ..!" hahahhhaha..... when u see the ang mo "what the hell r u talking" face i also wan to laugh lo...hahahaa... shortly after that... damn Singaporean start to have ah beng behavior liao... u push me, i push u back... whahahaa... omg... damn xia suay Singaporean leh u.... but that moment i really pray they dun fight.. coz they were just beside me... if either party push harder... i sure kena lo... heng ah!

and finally after such long walk.. we finally found our seats.... luckily it was night race, quite windy and nice weather that night... cool... F1 live!

Vrooommmm Vrooooommmm VROOOOOMMMMM.... 5 mins exciting... 10 mins still ok... 20 mins of the VROOOOMMMM sound.... i start to think its NOISY... its disturbing liao...

so there u go..i'm not a Vrooom person... haha... when the car miss the turn and stop, ppl rush forward to take picture..AND BLOCK ALL MY VIEW LIAO LO.. see la.. Singaporean...

Going home is another comedy... Do we have "foreign talent" as our police nowaday also? coz they simply doesn't know Singapore well enough! they actually stop us from going to the nearest MRT stn which is cityhall.. and advise us to WALK TO RAFFLES PLACE wor...

either u take a cab. (which aku jin buai song to pay the $5 surcharge) or u walk to RAFFLES PLACE MRT STN... so i simply ask.. how to walk? i'm at marina square leh.... guess wat our dear police say: "you walk towards pan pac, come out... walk.. walk... walk to raffles place lo.." how? JIN FAR LO... "Walk lo.." TMD... fiantz..

Rest assured... i won't be stupid to WALK TO RAFFLES PLACE LO... we went suntec eventually la.. haha...

oh well well.. guess we have so much more to do when come to planning....

Zoo with HLLW!

Look like family photo ya? whaha... we indeed had a wonderful day in the zoo that day! Theme of the day... all of us must wear something with animal print on it.. haha... and we really so ONZ lo... all with animals!

I also dunno who and how we came out to this idea of going to zoo with Hayden, our darling!. we just planned and all take leave to accompany little Hayden.. so young only, got 3 pretties accompany him to the zoo ya? dun play play.. just look at his yaya papaya face you'll know. hahaha....

it was a friday, 19 Sep. And early in the morning, the rain travel from East to North lo.. but heng, only for a shortwhile and its bright and sunny throughout the rest of the day!

We meet up for breakfast first... ok ok.. can i skip the part where i'm late..blah blah... it's my blog, i get to choose what i wan to write ok! whahaha....

So after breakfast and some shopping (for mineral water and mosquitoes stick), we headed to SINGAPORE ZOOLOGICAL GARDEN...

As none of us drive that day, we decided to take a cab to the zoo... damn lo.. comfort listen up! can complain here? 3.. or 4? comfort taxi rejected us lo... from sembawang to zoo very far meh! tell me going woodlands cannot, this and that.... and it was like 10am? you are not changing shift nor break for lunch, so there's no excuse to choose your customer!! one hand telling the world $ hard to earn for cabby, another hand u choose passenger. CRAP! dun offend me.. i know my rights and channel to complain very well.. huh.. ok ok... i didnt do anything eventually.. haha...

Nonetheless, we still reach zoo shortly la.. and one good thing abt visiting these place on a weekday is..... it is not crowded! you only see real tourist or school children, and everybody elses will treat you like a tourist.. haha.. we like!

basically, one paragraph can finish the whole zoo part, coz other then the elephant show, the rest of the animals are either eating or sleeping.. and dunno whether is it i'm bigger now or the animals are smaller nowaday... lion is not as gigantic as i used to see... giraffe is not as tall as i used to think..but... the crocodile very big lo.. bigger than i think! hahaha.... and of coz.. how can we forgot our beloved AH MENG! standard.. all take photo with him... no, with his statue.. haha

Actually whole trip, we r just the tomato, animals are just the parsley.. the "main dish", is of coz our little darling - HAYDEN!! hahaha he is such a darling la i tell u!

the way he look at you, his killer smile, his cheeky behavior, we simply just couldn't resist but to hug and kiss him.. but... Hayden is a dirty baby... he eat his KFC using his hand and touch his hair after that... hai me and luan have to wash his hair after the meal.. where got ppl go eat KFC need to wash hair one!? hhahahaa... but nvm... still cute and handsome. hahah

How heavy is Hayden btw? i carry him till hand jin sng lo... omg... only can tahan for longest 10mins, after that i surrender! then next day, i'm like played WII for whole day.. soooo SNG...

ok ladies... you all add on from here... my eyes are closing liao... :-)

HAYDEN MISSES ME!!!

Steamboat PARTY!!

YUMMY!!! is the word!

We have steamboat party @ luan's place.. organised once last month, and we enjoyed it sooo much till we organised it again this month!!! will it become a monthly affair thingy? Hmm.. haha...

Time flies when i'm with those siao chao bor! We talk.. anything under the sky... we play cute little hayden... Hayden like us alot wor! probably we are sweeter than his mummy, we r prettier than his mummy and most importantly, we are younger than his mummy. that's why Hayden like us so much! hahahaa....

Yesterday's steamboat party at luan's place was simply GREAT! we enjoyed ourselves so much till we didn't even realised the time! we went NTUC to get all the steamboat ingredients, i love the meat luan's maid marinated.. TASTY.. with the miracle oystal sauce..hmm... and the ikan billis soup base... sausages.. and all others.. + of coz our Mooo ice cream and Ortak!! all add up to a word -- DELICIOUS!

Play Wii at luan's hse.. omg... so fun.. but SNG after that lo.... both Lily and i go crazy with the game... since its olympic season now.. we played all the olympic game.. racing, swimming, gymnastic, table-tennis... omg.. can u imagine now both my arms jin SNG one lo... very long never "exercise" till so siong liao leh... Smart ling glued her backside to the massage chair and while we were "exercising" she enjoy massaging lo.. see la!

And.. TA DA!! steamboat feast started.. we cook, we BBQ, we eat... best! can we have more of this kind???? This form of gathering is so much better than going party! hahah.. However they share one common characteristic... ie, after steamboat or party... all SWEAT AND SMELLY lo... hahaha.. but i prefer STEAMBOAT definitely. Can eat, can drink, can cook, can talk, can sit, can play!!

Then, we were watching luan's wedding video, hahahahaha.... i promised i won't watch it again.. or rather i won't watch those with my face in it.. paisey one lo.... the part where i force luan to drink.. so no image... and the part where luan shouted "LIWEN HUG ME!!".. haha.. she's high on her wedding night! hahahahahahahahahahaahhaah how time flies.....

Next, we talk about our overseas trip to Desaru.. full of memories man... think back.. how i wish we can experience it once again!

It was back in year 2004... all still so young that time la! haha... imagine, we can go straight after work, and back on sunday and back to work again on monday! going o/seas w/o taking any leave! how cool ya... but remember back then leave were so precious to us.. everyday count... (coz still studying mah!)

4 of us.. siao cha bor... took the last ferry to Desaru, only when we check in we realised all chalet surround us were all empty! except us! hahaha... We thought we can play water sport, ended up we walk up and down the beach only.. coz monsoon season all water sports closed! hahaha...

ended up.... we walk up and down the beach dunno how many time! but still... was fun wor! take photo... want to look for seashell but cannot find any... hahaha....and ling suntan while we run away from sun.. haha...

Ended up, we signed up for day tour... to see fireflies.. and "brave" luan, dunno see fireflies or wan go diving. As baby fireflies live in water, the tour guide actually use a black t-shirt and go underneath the water so we can see very clearly the baby fireflies.. so luan was sitting at the side, and helping the guide to hold the other end of the t-shirt.. almost 1/2 her body was already out of the boat liao lo... poor ling, so small size still have to grab hold of luan tightly.. hahaha.. Ling, did u really have a view of baby fireflies that time?? hahahhahahaa....

And the peak of this trip is the "sand mobile".. i don't know the exact term to this sport, basically its riding a motorbike kind of vehicle on sand. Ling and i shared one bike, while luan and lily another. As we travel, perhaps only ling & me the daring one la.. we travel fast fast.. but being daring got price to pay one wor.... while ling is riding me... our bike capsized onces.... ok ok.. small accident... so we check each other, still swee we carry on... then when its my turn riding... BIG ACCIDENT WOR! hahahhah... i also cannot remember how it happen, just instead of brake, i accelerate lo... wahahahahha... BANG!!! whole bike fall on us wor!!! whahahhahaa.. everytime we think of this sure laugh till tear! i only remember seeing luan and lily running towards us... while ling and me were under the bike.. Fortunate in the unfortunate, we were alright la.. but the best is.. while luan and lily so worried for us... our first Q to them is.. " MY FACE OK NOT?" wahahahahhahahahaa..... see.. woman, bor bian, face is most important.. coz we only check our face and only our face... we were happy when both still swee swee after the accident... its only till when we reach the chalet and bath... kaoz.... KAOZ.. i never had such BIG BRUISES on my body lo... basically whole thigh is blue black of my hand size.. bigger infact! imagine... doctor even give me MC for blue black.. just how scary it is... hahahahhahaaaa.......

And our way back at the stupid jetty, kena caught chewing gum.. delayed our time there when we guess those officers damn eng nothing to do wan to keep us to accompany them till the next ferry arrive. or mayb they see dunno who pretty purposely want to talk more la. hahaa.. but overall they are nice to us. but just wasting our time there lo....

all these memories... going to stay with me for sure man!!! i miss travelling with all the siao cha bor! haha....

It has been soooo long since i start reading a story book until i'm hook to reading that book..

Got this book and i thought aiyah... when then i can start and finish.. its only 200+ pages lo btw.... but my first instinct is... when then i'll start. Anyway no harm, so i borrowed this book from my darling hua..

And i decided i shall start reading a chapter first... and guess what... that 1 short chapter i read in tis book has totally change my attitude towards this book. I'm attracted to the meaning underlying in this book.

Its about an old man, a young man and life's greatest lesson. Ha.. indeed, you can see that from the cover yourself. haha.... this book flow as well, we just continue to read and read and read...

And i guess it reflect alot of "life lesson" that most of us didn't realised and wonder, guess really when till abt to die then will think. in this case, Morrie, is fortunate enough to have 6mths time to think and realised his entire life.. we might not have this chance or as lucky as him.

Very interesting story.. and it actually make u follow from a weak old man, to the weaker old man. the the graduation day (which is his funeral)... kaoz.. touched de lo i tell you....

more of this kind... it make me see things.. and perhaps, hopefully, make me into a better person...

so end of this blog.. go get this book and read it urself.. u'll see things as i do... then u, hopefully, will live better and to ur fullest...

say say only... now i also behave the same way. well at least, it make me think and realised at the moment. Well done!

REBORN and WELCOME to my brand new 6/6 vision!

Yes all.. i done my LASIK!!!! am resting at home now... cannot stay outdoor too long.. cannot stare at PC too long.. cannot strain ur eyes too much... cannot stare at TV too long... slp as much as you can... hahahahhaa... ya... guess that's what i need to take care of my beloved eyes now!

The surgery is a success one i must say. Dr Yap, my doc, is man of few words.. never say alot of things, throughout the 10mins operations the only sentence i hear from him is... "focus on the orange light..." and that's all... his movement very fast and experienced.. so fast till before u new it, ur eye lid is wide open, before u realised, he had cut open ur cornial, then then total blur to ur vision, all you can see is really the orange light.. i fee like i'm dreaming at that moment and fear for my eyesight... and soon, the sound of laser... then very fast, everything was done back.... and that's it! One eye done.... next eye follows.... in less than 1omins, all was done!

the moment i step out, i feels ok.. things were good and indeed painless. but soon.. i realised i cannot open my eyes.. its like i didn't sleep for 2 days and my eyes have this "sour" feeling... throughout my journey home i simply cannot force my eyes to open... so tired feeling lo... the moment i reach home, i slp... slp... slp... slp... slp... few hours later.. i woke up... and instantly i feel HAPPY!!! i can see sharper image... however the whole enviornment is hazy and smoky to me.. but image is sharp... cool!!! so that night i slp again.. hahaha.. suit me alot hor. slp whole day! hahaha...

and TADA!!! the next day i woke up feeling good,happy and amazing! i can see very clearly! all images are sharp to me! and the hazy/smoky effect is gone!!!! i'm very HAPPY.....

most impotantly, i don't suffer what others usually will... i don't suffer from red eyes, sore eyes, dryness... i hardly use eye drop also! i love my eyes!

trust me, if u r suffering from short sightedness.. go for lasik! you never regret and definitely value for $$$$!!!!!!!!!

OH YEA!!!!!! kristie is in labour NOW!!!! yes NOW!!!! push push PUSHHHHHHHH!!!!! little Jayden finally going to see his mummy and daddy soon!!!!!!

Lasik!!

Oh yea... i'm going for my lasik surgery this month!! how exciting!! ok ok.. this whole lasik is very sudden...

It just happen! hahaa... i have been talking and thinking abt lasik, but it always stop at the stage of talking and thinking... so one day, i saw my coll. doing it, and ask her where she did hers, she, very good lo, pass me the namecard and offer to bring me there to see see look look feel feel... so thinking no harm, and she really mean it, we were at the clinic the next day!

so the clinic was having this JULY promotion, which they exempt the pre-lasik evaluation examination fees ($100). so since its FREE, no harm going for the pre-lasik test.. and there i am few days later doing the test.... after the test... JULY promotion only valid for JULY.. so meaning have to sign up for the JULY time slot... and after the test, might as well.. sign and do lo.. whahhahaha... and SO.. yes.. my lasik surgery was scheduled on 30th. omg.. damn exciting!!! i shall have my 6/6 vision soon!! can't wait...

Although the fee may seem high, but looking at long term, it really does save alot. imagine the cost of my contact lens for one yr already $1k plus, in 2 yrs time i can breakeven. Aside the cost, its the convenient and feel that a figure cannot relate to! Those on spec will understand what i mean la!

so... pls pray its a success one for me!!

My last party was 2007 Christmas eve at st james, and till last friday for more than 6mths i actually didn't party at all!!!! people start calling me saint, people wonder why i didn't party, ppl said its no longer me anymore. hahaha. but trust me... i dun have the urge to go party. i simply enjoy the quiet night, enjoying my glass of cocktail, or wine or simply martini at the bar OR my latte at the coffeehse.

I dun look forward to party anymore.

Then then then... also good timing.. just as i wonder isn't it time for me to party again, sy asked me to go party coz ET asked her to go party. ok... so its. ET asked SY go party, SY asked ME go party, ME asked SL go party, SL asked EL........ and the PARTY date is fixed at last friday...

luan and me were still so excited talking abt how we party last time, what funny things we do together, what joke we created last time, was funny scene we were at last time... as we talked, we get excited, and our party mood arose! so much till i'm actually looking forward to our party day!! as the day grew nearer, our excitement grew stronger! hahaa

AND FINALLY!!!!!!! FRIDAY is here!!! but but but but but but but but BUT.... Mood is not there, environment is not there, music is not there, party attitude is not there.. everything seem so different then and now. However one thing i discover, Namecard is good for party! as it get u in FREE. haha.. so remember to bring ur namecard along when u party next time!

We cannot find back the party mood and atmosphere... We (or Me for sure) were bored after awhile, We (or ME for sure) don't drink that much ... coz SY wan drink asahi lo.. i dun like leh. hahaha... and my apricot brandy on the rock become apricot brandy 7-up... how disappointing!

So... for the first time... i reach home before 2am for party! last time we partied till light on... now! now! NOW!! yawn till tears drop ah....

Update!

Been some time since i last update. Finally i can say.. i'm NOT BUSY at work at last! SHould i use the word - BALANCE? haa.. well i must say, more work-life balance now, which also means, less challenging now.

Working life been pretty... hmm.. what is the best word to use.. stable? less demanding? less challening? stale? boring? expecting? standard? ... i don't have the prefect word to describe. been asking is this what i wan.. been wondering is this what i expect myself to be in.. answer is still.. i dun know..

i guess that human ya? or rather.. that's me? hmmm...

Very fast, the the day i start work till now, 3 months already.. my boss just showed me the signed confirmation letter, other than the increment part, i don't have any eager to take the letter.. i feels like i'm working there for 1 year instead of 3mths already. basically i think i wan to venture to other industry.. i want to learn new things.. instead of always contributing, i wan to learn also leh...

OH ya, i signed up for my CPA course as well.. so ya, back to school! hahaa... after so many yrs didn't touch book, i hope i'm not rusty for this. this is a short course, only 5 days. you r required to cover 1 module every day, meaning 5 days course = 5 module. and end of 5th day, is also EXAM day. yes.. EXAM! cannot believe right? haha... then pass or fail depend on this already.. goodness let me get the damn CPA cert la.. then then... my next job i can ask for more things liao! ahaha... amazing how this 5 days can change your bargaining power ya? it does.. alot infact..

so... study luck/exam luck.. pls return to me! hehe

Awesome Bangkok..

This is Bangkok Airport.. Accordingly, still quite new... Think our Changi airport cannot ya ya papaya for long... alot are chasing after us... Anyway, this airport got a very "aluminium" feel to me.. hahhaha... First impression of bangkok.. PASSED!

Moving on to our hotel.. surprising! they have a very good taxi Q system... but funny how my friend describe.. haa.. we r Q in one row, the taxi driver Q at the other row facing us... so when it reaches our turn, we tell the counter where we r going and ta da! our taxi driver appear right infront of us... "like match-making hor?" that's what my friend describe.. hahaha... but our taxi uncle bor handsome.. I DUN WAN.. hahah.. Journey to hotel was smooth.. no JAM wor! cannot believe.. perhaps its a saturday morning.. all not working? what supposely to be a 30mins ride ended up we reach in 20 mins! cool!

from then on... there's only one thing, nope 2 things in our agenda... ie --> SHOP & EAT....

its a short trip, just 3 days 2 night, we didnt have time for tourist attraction. mayb i'll do that in my next trip. However our first stop, we visited the famous 4 face buddha. Can really tell it is FAMOUS lo.. along the way to there also have a few 4 face buddha but bor lang pray de leh.. this one is so different.. so grand so "smoky.." dun know how to start and pray, so monkey see, monkey do. haha... somehow.. i still prefer my "SI MA LU GUAN YING MIAO"... dun ask me why, i can't answer..

Shopping in bangkok test ur patient.. coz.. its HOT HOT HOT!!! very hot! end of the day, i dun dare to smell myself. scared i'l faint.. weather there can kills man.. luckily i got my portable powerful battery operated fan with me.. if not i can die man, but coz the weather is so hot, the wind from my beloved fan is also hot wind. Anyway. got wind better than no wind. haha.. i drank coke like i drink plain water. its.. HOT! even the local can't tahan and tell us this summer is extraordinary HOT!! No matter how HOT the weather can be, it still cannot shop us from SHOPPING! wow.. tell u, we can really shop till forgot lunch forgot dinner. just had my coke i'm contented. haa.. things there are generally cheap. even before bargain sound reasonable to me, but since it is their culture to bargain, we MUST do it, and i have my representative to do on my behalf! haha.. coz. i really dunno how to bargain one leh... this must leave to"auntie" to do it for me. OPPS! hahaha...

FOOD in bangkok is GOOODDDD also! i basically had tom yam everyday... taste so good! i'm missing them now!! however think i had too much tom yam or spicy food... i kena cough.. TILL NOW! it has been 1 week already..i'm STILL COUGHING.. cough cough go away.. i hate cough.. i hate cough syrup even more! the thought of cough syrup taste make me wan to vomit. yyyeeeekkk...

so ya, u all can imagine, i bought alot of things back!! from head to toe, from inside to outside.. all have! hahaha...u name it.. u have it! and all within my budget! i only change S$600. and i spend all there! no cards payment! i'm impressed with S$600 i can spend like queen in bangkok..

ok ok.... nothing perfect.. so i shall MALU myself here.. but also share with u all mah.. LAUGH all u wan after u read. i'm prepared.. just dun suan me ok? haha

1st - We paid SQ pricing for jetstar ticket. We have booked our jetstart ticket online ages ago.. and all sotong never check la! so actually the payment didn't went through and $%&$ jetstar actually took our names away WITHOUT informing us. my sotong friend also never realised her credit care stmt didn't deduct.. so when we check in, we were shock by this news.. so.. ended up, we bought the ticket on the spot and spend S$500+ for JUST JETSTAR AIR TICKET.. omg.. this is really HEART PAIN.. and this is also why i only spend S$600 and no more for my trip. haha... but most importantly, we still went bangkok and enjoyed. ok la. $ can earn back...

2nd - We r sotong.. ok ok. i admit.. but not all the time ok? haha.. as i mentioned we shop till happy, my friend brought us to this shop that sells all the cookies, and tell us they'll pack into a box so we can check in the box, dun need pack ourselve and hand carry so mafan. Upon hearing that, u know how lazy i am.. i buy lo.. really buy enough to pack into the box, plus all my shopping for that day, all packed into the box. people there were so friendly.. then then then.. (Really cannot blame me. coz i wasn't there to listen hor...i was dunno doing what.. ) told us they have free delivery service but only LOCAL ADDRESS... so the 2 blur one say WE R FROM SINGAPORE, SO CANNOT... can u imagine... we carry the box from the shop to our hotel... that would be... 15mins walk to MRT stn (coz we walked the wrong way, actually only stone thrown distant, we walked a BIG rounf), 2 MRT stops, 10 mins walk to hotel... but the time i reach hotel front door - FINALLY, and i heard them saying the free delivery thing.. i wanted to kill someone instantly.!! make me carry such heavy boxes around.. my hand almost broke! sweat till like nobody biz.. when ACTUALLY THERE"S FREE DELIVERY SERVICE!? LOCAL ADDRESS!!! arn't our hotel LOCAL ADDRESS!? we r not leaving on that day, can always ask them to deliver to our hotel what!!! why must i carry till so XIN KU!!! can u imagine.... it remind me of my trip from hong kong to shenzhen.. really can fight lo.. hahahahaha...

ok la.. its an experience, so ended up, we laugh whole night.. hahahaha.. really must appreciate those i bought... not easy to bring back ok? hahahah....

ok ok.. STOP LAUGHING! hahahaha... and i wonder when my cough go away... sighed... *COUGH* *COUGH*..

My new job scope.......

One of my job scope which is totally brand new to me..is CREDIT CONTROL...

i have never done this before and this does not impress me initially. of coz.. i dun mind trying and since they willing to pay me right? so i just try lo..no harm...

i'd been doing too much reporting in SPH i guess... i lose track of all operational things, nvm... this can pick up. so long as no more reporting, no more SGX deadline, no more reports to write.. i think operation issues i still can handle...

so i started working.. everything went well... and as i review their aging report.. i got a shock... u mean.. u mean.. U MEAN... there's still debt outstanding even till way back early 2007, 2006 and 2005!!!!! didn't the previous accountant do something to this? didn't the previous accountant chase the debt? didn't the previous accountant write off the debt? didn't the previous accountant do the proper job. well.. obviously the previous accountant didn't do her job that's why i'm there. hahaha...

and guess what.. i spend one whole day CALLING! "Hi, i'm Liwen calling from XXX pte ltd, i would like to speak to ur accounts payable department regarding outstanding invoices Pls transfer me... hi, i'm calling to check on invoice # XXX - XXX, it was outstanding since XXX, pls settle this payment immediately and would like to draw ur attention that there is a late charge is u dun pay within credit term.. etc etc etc blah blah blah....so when can i expect ur payment??" and this thing go on and on for one day...

and as i call.. i talk shorter .. hahaha.. lazy liao la.. it was hard to find their contact in the first place!? didn't the previous accountant keep contacts?! how come system never update!!!!! ok ok... that WAS PREVIOUS ACCOUNTANT... PRESENT ACCOUNTANT will not let this happen...

and to my surprise! 80% were generally polite, and co-operative to settle the sum.. i'm someone that u r nice to me.. i'll be nice to u... so i have no problem talking to those 80%.... there were this 20% minority ppl.... is really JIN BUAI TAHAN one lo....

one thing i would like to draw all ur attention... there is A DIFFERENT BETWEEN ACCOUNTS AND FINANCE! i'm in FINANCE... finance is higher class than accounts. and the 20% i talked to they definitely belongs to ACCOUNTS.

1st - THEY R AUNTIES that work prior FRS era... they only know book keeping, not accounting.

2nd - THEY R NOT ACCOUNTS TRAINED. as i mentioned earlier, they r book keeping, not accounting

3rd - THEY HAVE NO MANNER

4th - THEY TALK VERY ROUGH.. the languge they used are so CHEAP...

5th - THEY R NOT PROFESSIONAL like me... huh

so when u called a co whom have AUNTIES in their accounts dept.. u'll get this...

AUNTIE: Aiyo... what is it?? what???

"HUH? hmmm.. sighed... sorry.. yes can i help?" i damn song liao.. whahahahhahahahahaha

dun play with me ok? hahahhahaha....

and ladies and gentlemen.. MISS TAN is good one lo... she pay up liao wor! whahahahahahaa....

another kind is BIG COMPANY.. i was from BIG COMPANY... so i know. but now.. i hate BIG COMPANY.... u can call, transfer 5 times, repeat who u r and ur intention of this call 5 times, they r STILL TRANSFERRING UR CALL.. transfer till lao niang PEK CHEK lo... and STILL CANNOT HELP! end of the day.. i have to get my sales ppl talk to their sales ppl to settle. i think this is more effective rather than me calling useless "payment" ppl... arghhh...

what else.. SO MANY... so u see.. reporting is high class job, u write reports, u deal with managers and executive which r professionals themselves, but life is stressful and dull..

u go operations, u get this kind of rubbish and u talk to AUNTIE... but actually quite FUN la.. hhaha....

there's lot more funny ppl around lo... imagine i'm only there for 1mth. and encounter so many "idiots" liao.. more to come.. hahahaha

since this is my KPI.. guess i have to put in effort.. sighed..... CREDIT CONTROL... will it make my life shorter.... AUNTIES.. omg..

This letter took me 5 mins to draft, but it took me 1 whole week to give.. Yes, ladies and gentlemen.. i had tender my resignation. It took awhile to make such major decision but i don't see a reason for me not making this decision.

My boss.. had a shock but somehow expected but never expects so fast. He thought i'll get my bonus in end April before i tender. The sum was quite alot for my April payout, but my new boss cannot wait to see me everyday leh. so bor bian... anyway.. $ can be earned back!

My 2 big bosses in the room is unhappy with my decision. Tried to keep me but failed. of coz la.. how to reconsider if u never counter offer? hello! dun need consider at all lo....

So.. i hope my new working environment is good and ppl good, boss good i'll be happy there!!!! WISH ME BA!!

Oh.. btw.. hahahha... i'm going on holiday soon again! this time to THAILAND!!!!! confirmed already, will be going this April!!!! can't wait! THAILAND! SHOPPING.. HERE I COME!!!! hehheheh

The plane landed successfully at Tokyo Narita Airport. And my tour started...........

Once aku step out of Narita airport... my first sentence was.. :" WOW.. so shoick.. so cooling!" with vapour coming out from my mouth instantly when i talk. Less than 2mins only... i change my sentence to :"WOW.. very cold leh... buai tahan liao".. hahaha... and i was shivering trying my best to keep my image till i reached the coach. Believe it or not? There is a statute of Liberty in Tokyo itself. How impressive ya!?

Situated near Odaiba Park. There lies Palette Town - largest ferry wheel in the world. and cost me Yen900(S$12) for a ride (Convert over... still cheaper than our Singapore flyer leh..). Sceneries up there was cool.. weather was cool also! look at the view taken from the ferry wheel.. nice wor...

Then we visited the Toyota showroom. I must say, getting a japanese car in japan is VERY CHEAP lo. at around $25k u can get a very decent toyota 1.6cc or above car. How cheap right? but their ETC (like our ERP) is damn expensive. Highway for large cc cars have to pay $50+ and parking is also expensive accordingly to the tour guide. Getting a car in Japan is cheap, but maintaining the car is very expensive.

Looking at those car, my saliva also drop. look at my dream car.. how i wish i can order one now!!!! ~ i shall be driving one soon! omg.. hahaha....

Ever wonders how our future car would look like? A car that doesn't require a driver, a car that doesn't requires our feet to step on accelerator and brake, our hand to control the steering wheels... the car just drive where we want to go. i tired that at toyota showroom. impressive, but they have to improve in order to go live on road. coz the speed is way toooo slow lo...

Venus Fort - the only BIG SHOPPING CENTRE i got chance to shop in tokyo. Not much time also, coz only have about 45 mins? this is what i hate the most about going holiday with tour group. always have to rush against the time.

When i spotted burberry blue label shop, immediately i cheong to there. And for the first time in my life, i spend less than 10mins to get myself a bag (Step in, browse through, choose bag, ask for new piece, Q to pay, pay, get GST rebate – ALL IN 10 MINS!!). and this bag does not cost $30 or $50 lo.. it cost me Yen26000! which is about S$350!! consider the brand... ok already la.. but after i bought it.. look at it.. suddenly i realised it is not that worth after all for blue label.. coz coz.. blue label bag is MADE IN CHINA! and not Japan. i felt cheated.... :-( [But nonetheless, after carry it for 1 week, I think I like burberry! Their online website look so cool, I’m getting another soon!)

First day was nothing much, after "so call" whole day of shopping, we head to hotel. Japan's sunrise very early, sunset also supper early. Their 5pm is like our 7pm..

Had a good sleep in the hotel, we set off around 9am plus to their domestic airport - Kansai Aiport. Domestic flight to Hokkaido which took around 2 hours. First thing i saw in hokkaido from the plane was white colour.. all the land covered with snow. it is soooo sooo soo BEAUTIFUL!! so white so pure!!!!! i love hokkaido instantly!!

Its weather is much colder than Tokyo. for 5 days i'm in Hokkaido the tempreture has always been below 0 degree. First station in Hokkaido - Ramen street. Where whole place sells ramen. According to our dear tour guide, Sam, any shop u go in sure sell good ramen. And good enough, the RAMEN WAS INDEED GOOD!!!!

after that... did some shopping in hokkaido.. tell u, their shopping not impressive one lo. u won't get anything from there.. its just like our... beauty world? lucky plaza those kind lo... S'pore i already never shop liao, u tell me where possible for me to get anything there. ended up, we got alot of fruits from the supermarket... strawberry.. SWEET DE LO.. banana - SWEET DE LO.. fuji apple - SWEET DE LO.. Grapes.. SWEET DE LO..their fruits are very expensive compared to here.. but nicer than here wor. Fuji apple here and fuji apple there are not comparable!

Another daily product in hokkaido which i must admit is super nice is their MILK.. dun know what they feed their cow leh... milk from hokkaido is very SWEET.. very NICE! u can never have this kind of flavour here.. nicer than meji lo... oh my.. i miss hokkaido's milk milk... imagine i had 2-3 glasses everyday.. u'll know how nice it is...

Walk around area around our hotel, they have alot of snow theme/fesitval to attracts tourist. so see alot of ice sculpture and fireworks almost every night. Tempreture at night is super cold lo.. imagine -12 degree.. omg.. freezing....
Actually to be frank.. i forgot what i did after ramen to shopping... forgot! omg.....

Went to a snow carnival...they called - Sounkyo Ice Fall Festival.. very nice but nothing interesting. see alot of sculpture made of ice lo.. took some picture and played the slide made of ice... fun wor.. whahaha. Took a photo with their "japanese monster'.. quite scary one leh.... very fierce looking and will chase after u one wor... ohhh...

After that, we went to Okhotsk Tower, not to go and have bird eye view, but this tower bring u to underwater and view the seabed! where according to Sam, if u r lucky u can see alot of sea angels swimming. it was nice, but we r not lucky enough. Luckily they have some in the fish tank. haha.. actually, can also see in Sentosa la. sama sama.. but nice..

Then, its the ice breaker cruise. the selling point of this tour!!!! indeed.. WORTH IT!!!!! never experience this before!! its a ride on ice breaking ship through the drift ice along the sea of Okhotsk. Can see a number of seals and sea gulls also oh! very thrilling, very exiting! and of coz.. VERY COOOOLLLLLDDDDD!!! let the picture tell everythng ba!

After the exicting ice breaking trip.... we head for lunch of coz. hhaa.. love japanese food!
Do u know something special about hokkaido that most drivers won't know. Look at the following picture and u tell me what is the red arrow for? Accordingly, only hokkaido have this sign oh..... how intereting..

Those red arrows are actually indicators to drivers. During heavy snow, road are likely to be covered by snow, hence driver cannot differenate between road and pathway or drain. so this arrows point at the road shoulder telling the driver to keep their lane.If exceed the arrow, ur car might travel down to the drain. smart hor!

Next, we went to Ginga-no-taki waterfall. can u imagine the weather is so cold that even waterfall froze! waterfall where no water is falling! Next to Ginga-no-taki waterfall is Ryusei-no-taki waterfall. also froze liao.... nothing much to see except take some photo and view the "waterfall" that does not have any water lo. ahhahaha

After that we check in to our hotel. This hotel is very GOOD! coz got hot spring! MY FAVOURITE MAN!!!!!! immediately after we check in, we head to hot spring liao.. grab any chance before dinner time to try its hot spring.. it was COOL!!! exactly just like those u saw in Japan hour lo.. u r in hot spring, snow is just right infront of you. u can see snowing and enjoy the COLD BREEZE while u soak in HOT SPRING.... omg.. i miss it now man... but when u stand up.. u'll know.. hair all stand up! hahahaha.. but i like it sooo much! after dinner, we went to their snow festival, to see fireworks and play some games. nice and interesting... after that i head to hot spring again.. whahahahaa.....

Went to Kita Kitsune Fox farm. Kitsune is Japanese word for fox. They keep hokkaido foxes in the farm. When u take a close look at the foxes' eyes, u'll understand how the word "HU LI" come from. they really look so cunning.. Foxes there damn despearate one lo... go in only.. see many pair busy mating liao. guess they must be damn bored, so mate lo... hahaha... there's one lugi best lo... insert his leg inside the female.. omg.. sight of it.. i pity the female so much. never know foxes like to go rough one.. abit to rough though. hahahaa

Next, we went to Tofutsu-ko, meaning “a lake where birds are always there” in Ainu language. Nothing impressive.. bought some bread to feed those swans.. they enjoy the bread, I enjoy feeding.. but jin cold lah… too cold to stand.. after short while… all rush back to coach liao.. coz beside those swans waiting for tourists to feed them, nothing else to see…

Then, we went to sulphur hill, forgot the name of that place.. but again.. beautiful one lo… sulphur is smelly, so can u imagine what “enjoyment” we had from the smell.. minus away the smell, every other thing is perfect.. and sulphur hill has given my camera a mark, coz I dropped my beloved camera there.. thank goodness it is still functioning well now… heart pain when it drop…

Next is Ainu village. Ainu are indigenous people living in Hokkaido by co-existing and living together with nature. Its like our kampong lo.. bought some souvenir there and my cute good wish cats for only Yen1000! Bought a nice bag there for Yen 1000 also!! Well.. at least I can get something there!

Dinner that night was very special and good… for the first time in my life.. I eat like an animal.. whahaha… sound very cruel, but the taste is.. DELICIOUSSSSS!!!! Guess what I had?

I had LIVE FISH… not the sashimi we always eat.. it is real LIVE FISH.. on the buffet table u’ll see fish tank full of little fishes swimming, and you basically just take the net, catch the fishes u wan to eat, put them on the bowl, pour some miso sauce inside the bowl, bring to your desk, and ENJOY the taste of LIVE FISH.

Sound real gross I know, but trust me, if you r going japan, pls pls pls remember to try if u have the chance. U WON”T REGRET!!!! I had 2 fishes, after that I find it too sinful to carry on although I wish to.. haha.. well, at least must try the taste and it was tested and proven.. DELICIOUS!

Today, a challenging day! We r heading to SNOW MOBILE! This is a very expensive sport but very interesting and u can NEVER try in Singapore! Cost me Yen 10,000 (equiv S$140) for 45 mins ride… thrilling I must say… up the hill, down the hill… esp exciting when u go at high speed..!! I like!!!!! How to describe.. the whole area filled with snow, and u travel at high speed, strong wind blow against u and the weather is already super cold.. although expensive, but it is worth it!

Next, we head to Akan Crane Center – a place to study endangered species of crane. And you can watch Japanese cranes on the snowy field. Cool…. Nothing much you can do there except taking picture. You are expected not to make any noise also as this might scares the crane away. If all of them fly away, where got crane to take photo leh. Ha.. Cranes are such darling animals, they only have one life partner in their lifetime. They met each other, have off spring together, live together till the day they part and they faithfully only have one partner in their lifetime. Even if the partner has passed away, they remain faithful.. cannot believe right? How nice if human behave this way as well…

(Nice right? The red colour dot on their forehead are said to be the most poisonous part, even human can die of eating it. Well, of coz they only use when needed, so dun offend them like offend me oh. Whahaha)

Nothing much after that, the journey to next destination require quite some time. So in coach most of the time. Must really give credit to Sam, for 3 hrs ride, he can talk non-stop for 3 hours. Not talking nonsense but history of Japan and some stories of Japan which I personally find it very interesting myself. Never once i enjoyed the long distance coach ride. Well done Sam!

An activity was organised near our hotel – Tokachigawa Festival “Sairinka”, meaning a unique fantastic light and sound show. Well.. I must say, ok only. I only wait for the fireworks to start, meanwhile, I played snow slide with Harry, I really enjoyed playing those slides made of snow! So exciting!!! And the fireworks.. is.. WONDERFUL!!!!!!

And of coz after the activity.. how can I miss my favourite – HOT SPRING!! Tonight’s hot spring and on top floor!! After “soaking” indoor, we went up to the roof top and continue soaking. The feeling was. SHOICCCCKKKKK!!!! Because it was snowing!!! Imagine you r soaking in the hot spring and snowflakes just falling on your face!! OMG.. I miss hot spring…

Takochigawa Festival “Sairinka”

14 Feb (V DAY!)

It is really an perfect idea to celebrate V day in hokkaido. But I realised ppl in Japan don’t celebrate V day. Very quiet. And accordingly, men in Japan will rec’d present while women in Japan have to give present to the guy they like on V day. I guess that is the reason why it wasn’t so happening in Japan. Hahahaha

And I also visited a very romantic town, Otaru Canal. The famous photo taking place will be this pefect angle to capture all the landmark in that town – ie, the Canal, row of warehouse and the Lamp. You got to see… very beautiful.

Along the pathway of Otaru Canal are shops selling musical boxes (all so special I almost wish I can buy the whole shop and at the moment I really thought I’m in wonderland! Can really day dream!!! But of coz, by looking at the price to those musical boxes, it bring me back to real life.haha). They have glassware shops and many café around. One interesting thing about their café is that – you can bring home the cup as a souvenir after you purchase their coffee. So cute right? I enjoyed myself there! Just imagine we are given 3 hours to shop and explore there you can imagine how nice is the place! Even visited the workshop where it demo how beautiful glass were made!

Another delicious food we had in Japan.. EXPENSIVE somemore wor! Its their beef and abalones!!! It cost Yen5,500 (S$70) for a 200g of top grade beef. I forgot what u call those kind of beef, but basically their fats are well distributed that it melts in ur mouth when u eat it. (Sound like M&N huh? Hahahha) Omg.. till now I still can remember the taste! The cow good life wor, they got massage with beer everyday, no need exercise everyday.. just eat, slp, massage, enjoy. Then finally, we pay $ and enjoy their top grade meet. Nice! And the abalone! Omg.. it is LIVE one lo.. for one live abalone, it cost me Yen 5,500 (S$70) too. See it “dancing” in its shell, when they r about to place on the BBQ grill, I almost said SORRY to them. Very cruel.. while they r being cooked alive, the chef pour sake on them as well.. omg.. see the way they “dance” to death, I almost didn’t have the heart to eat.. But.. aiya, paid so much, wasted leh.. and trust me.. they taste DELICIOUS!!! A must have if u go Japan! ( Just remember to have vegetarian food when u r back to repent the “sin” made. Hahahaha)

At night, Sam brought us to Susukino – their red light district. See those lady on their way to work.. really can tell whether they work there or not. Very commercialise place. Nothing much actually. So after tour around that area… I head immediately back to hotel.. BACK TO MY HOT SPRING!!!!! Hahahahah.. I LOVE HOT SPRING!

Nothing much on this date, we basically spend whole day travel back home.. how sad.. last stop before we leave Hokkaido to Tokyo, we went to Sapporo Beer factory. An educational trip, showing how beer is produced from step one till packaging. The plant that we visited are old plant, so it is not “live” as in they r producing the beer and we r viewing. So.. well, guess the most interesting part is, we get to drink free flow of beer after that! Ahhaa… Sapporo Beer taste good!

After that, we headed to Tokyo, then from Tokyo back to home sweet home.. SINGAPORE!

Omg…. I never spend so long on blog lo… and u guys never spend so long reading right? Haha…. FINALLY!!! Updated… well.. enjoy the pictures ba! Conclusion – I LIKE HOKKAIDO!
